Bodington Hall Plans Update

Further to previous post 6th February with regard to a public meeting about the proposals hosted by David Wilson Homes at Bodington Hall.

At the meeting we were informed that they plan to build 106 (3-4 bed-roomed houses) costing less than half a million.  This is to include 4 blocks of 3 affordable houses (12 houses).

We were also told that the green spaces at the top left hand side and the bottom right hand side of the plan will be retained by the University.

The main concerns were traffic congestion on Adel Lane.  David Wilson Homes mentioned that they are currently looking at the traffic issue with highways.
