TRANSPORT bosses in Leeds are taking to the streets in a bid to win over the city’s trolleybus doubters

Trolleybus“TRANSPORT bosses in Leeds are taking to the streets in a bid to win over the city’s trolleybus doubters.

Officials from West Yorkshire passenger transport authority Metro and Leeds City Council are holding two open-air information events this week.

Members of the public will be able to quiz them about the trolleybus scheme outside Debenhams on Briggate from 10am to 4pm on Tuesday. (July 16)

Another event will then be held outside Sainsbury’s in Dortmund Square from 10am to 4pm on Saturday. (July 20)

The council’s executive member for economy and development, Coun Richard Lewis, said: “The public consultation sessions that have already been held were very productive so I’d like to thank all those who took part in them.”
