Just a reminder about the planning inquiry reopening on the 1st March 2011 at Leeds Civic Hall starting at 10am and it is expected that the inquiry may last up to 8 days.
The Adel Association would welcome as large an attendance as possible from local residents at the inquiry on 1st March at 10am.

Crime
There have been 2 reports of burglary in the last week and both on Church Lane, both have had their euro profile locks attacked by mole grippers to rear doors. There has been no vehicle crime. Due to a recent increase in burglaries extra patrols have been carried out in the area, you may have seen PCSO King out and about on his bike on the 9th where he concentrated on the area around the Lawnswood Arms.
ASB has remained low, at the weekend we held a Special Constables event where they were deployed to our burglary and ASB hot spots. Bedquilts car park was visited on numerous occasions but no disorder was seen.
SID has not been deployed.

Adel Crag Association Committee meeting is to be held on Tuesday 22nd February 2011 at 7.00pm. Adel Crag tenants and residents are welcome to send agenda items to the Chair in Advance.
York Gate Garden
York Gate Garden opens on Sunday 3rd April and they are looking for one or two more volunteers to help on open days during the season. Duties include welcoming visitors, serving teas and selling gifts. We are looking for people who can offer at least one session per month (April – September) and preferably an extra session or two to cover bank holiday weekends and evenings in June. Most sessions are from 1.45pm- 5.15pm.
Opening Times 2011:
April – September: Thursdays and Sundays, 2pm – 5pm
BH weekends (April, May & August):
Sunday and Monday, 11am – 5pm
Evenings: 15th, 21st & 29th June, 6.30pm – 9pm
We will be holding a special Candlelight Evening on Friday 19th August – details to follow.

We have heard as from 21st February Weetwood Lane will be closed on weekdays only between 9.30am- 3.30pm for 2 weeks. This is due to some carriageway resurfacing along Weetwood Lane between the Ring Road and the junction with Foxhill Avenue.
