Adel Players
The Adel Players Dramatic Society is an organisation which produces 3 full length plays a year (no musicals) and very occasional one-act plays. The society also organise theatre trips, social evenings and play readings. Rehearsals are held at Adel War Memorial Hall on Wednesday and Friday at 7.45pm. Click here to view website
Friday Night Project – Every Friday
This is for young people aged 11 – 18. Range of sport & art activities at Holt Park Leisure Centre, 5 – 7pm. Staffed by experienced youth workers & YMCA staff. Costs £1 including free swim & squash.
Coffee Morning – Every Monday
If you are feeling lonely, want to go and meet up, and have a chat with someone then come along to Coffee Morning and have a bacon sandwich every Monday between 10.00am- 12.00pm at Wayland Croft sheltered Complex.
Neighbourhood Police Update W/c 1st November
Crime
There has been only 1 reported burglary being reported on Adel Mead, the
property was left insecure. There has also been 1 report of vehicle crime
on Wayland approach where lighter fuel was used to set a car on fire.
ASB
There has been very little ASB in the last week, we did get a call regards
nuisance motor bikes around the Bedquilts, Tile Lane, Mulberrys area. If
you are suffering from nuisance motor bikes we have a dedicated line
straight through to our nuisance motor bike patrols which is 0113 2395092
or Leeds City Council Parks and wardens on 0113 2329973.
SID has not been deployed this week.
Events Apologies, last week I publicised PCSO King attending the Adel
Residents Association, this in fact should have read the Adel Crag
Association.
