The new Half-Fare MetroDay ticket for Young People
From Monday 21 May, a new Half-Fare MetroDay ticket will be introduced giving young people unlimited daily bus travel throughout West Yorkshire for just £2.60.
Youngsters aged 5-11 years, 11-16 year olds with a Metro Young Person’s Photocard and 16-18 year olds with a Metro Scholar’s PhotoCard will be able to buy a Half MetroDay ticket seven days a week from the driver on their bus. Minor Service Changes in June
There are a few minor service changes to bring to your attention. These are:
- New services 370 & 371 Rawthorpe – Huddersfield – start on 19 June.
- Service 923 Tadcaster – Otley – starts on 6 June.
- Service 951 –Day Tripper service – starts on 2 June until 27 August
- First are operating a reduced service during Jubilee week. On Wednesday 6 to Friday 8 June, First services 40, 51, 56, 72, 503 and 521 will be running the same timetables that applied during Easter week.
