The Olympics: Then & Now Project.  Anne & a group from OPAL have been involved with this project run by LCC to gather memories of people from Leeds who attended the 1948 Olympic Games in London. We had a lovely sunny day for our trip to Harlow Carr Garden. Most of us enjoyed our picnic lunch in the shade of the trees, it was so hot!  Members returned to the coach with plants and new ideas for their own gardens!   The next coach trip is on Fri 13th July—Hartlepool Maritime Experience, 9.30am-5.30pm cost £16. This is a re-creation of an 18th century Seaport with guides all in period dress.

The August trip will be to Lytham St Annes on Tues 21st Aug 9.30am-5.30pm, cost £12.
