Suspect watch as People Park up and place their bags in the boot, wait for them to go walking and smash window gaining access to boot from rear.”

The Drive, molegrips to rear door lock, unable to snap as fitted with anti snap barrel, no entry gained.
Adel Towers Close, attempt to prise open garage door but unsuccessful
Farrar Lane, force garage door and steal power tools from inside, occurred overnight
On Mulberry View and Mulberry Rise , garage doors are forced overnight and property stolen

CRIME STATISTICS 1st to 31st January 2013There has been a burglary on Farrar Lane; the conservatory window has been smashed, once inside a laptop and cash have been stolen, this has happened around 6.45 pm.
There have been 3 burglaries in the same area on the same night, 2 on Kingsley Avenue, these were both attempts as the properties had anti snap handles on the doors and the suspects could not get in, the other burglary was on Gainsborough Drive, a rear window has been smashed and suspects have climbed in, taken the car keys and then the home owner wakes up sees them and shouts. The suspects then make off in the complainants Audi A4.
The Cresent, jemmy a frame on a patio door to gain entry, laptop stolen, arrest made.
Otterburn Gardens, a shed lock was damaged to get in and various items stolen.

Burglary = 6
On The Drive, an insecure door was entered & a purse and keys stolen before being disturbed by the occupant. This has happened at 19.45 hours.
Another insecure house on Gainsborough Avenue happened overnight. Electrical items and jewellery were stolen.
An attempt occurred on Adel Wood Road where a euro profile lock was snapped with molegrips to gain entry. However, the suspects didn’t get further than the hall and stairs on this occasion. Continue reading
Scam mail trying to obtain
Please beware a Guiseley resident has recently received a scam letter from China, to summarise the letter states that the recipient will receive a sum of money from the estate of a deceased family member that the letter writer is asking for the recipient to confirm that they wish to take part. I suspect that a 2nd letter would ask for bank details.

A wrought iron gate was stolen from an address on Gladstone Road whilst the occupants were away..
