OPAL members will be enjoying the Diamond Jubilee Tea at Ralph Thoresby School 3.45-5pm on Thurs 5th July, with entertainment by the pupils. On Friday 6th July, members meet up with the Lord Mayor of Leeds at Cookridge Methodist Church Hall 1.45– 4.30pm for OPAL’s 10th Birthday Celebration and AGM plus entertainment by the Musical Theatre Group Memory Lane. We had a lovely sunny day for our trip to Harlow Carr Garden. This is a re-creation of an 18th century Seaport with guides all in period dress.

The August trip will be to Lytham St Annes on Tues 21st Aug 9.30am-5.30pm, cost £12.
