Welcome Back Cheryl, Community School Crossing Patrol Warden

Cheryl, Community School Crossing Patrol WardenWelcome back Cheryl, we were sorry to hear that you have been off work due to illness – we have all missed you.

Cheryl told us that “I have been off due to being diagnosed with MS.  I am coping quite well, got to keep smiling if I don’t I will cry.  Love to see everyone back and come and say hello.”

Cheryl has informed us that with effect from Monday, 29th April she will be on duty in the afternoon from 2.45 pm to 3.30 pm Monday to Friday until further notice.

Could parents please encourage their children to use the School Crossing Warden rather than take an alternative route to school.

It is extremely important that parents taking their children to school who have not used the service could you please start to use the Warden now – stay safe!

Thank you for your co-operation.

Have you any potholes in your area?

We have recently received the information below from Greg Mulholland MP.

“As I’ve been out talking to local residents over the last few weeks’ one issue gets raised time and time again. Potholes.

The government has recognised that this has been increasing problem on our roads over the last few years and has given Leeds City Council £2 million over the last two years to help tackle this problem.

Many local residents are asking me where this money has been spent. I need your help.

Please fill in this form to let me know about potholes in your area. You can tell me about as many as you want just by clicking the link again. Please also pass this on to your friends, neighbours and family so they can let me know about any potholes too. I want to get a really good picture of the state of our roads all across Leeds.

Please get in touch if there’s anything else you’d like me to help you with.”

Best Wishes,

Greg Mulholland MP
