Turning the Corner Summer Project

Turning the Corner Summer Project come to Holt Park.  Free Summer Activities for 10-18 year olds. Activities such as: Parkour / Free Running Coaching, Street Art Workshop, Creative Planting and much more….. Dates: Friday 19th August, Thursday 25th August, Tuesday 30th August, and Thursday 1st September. Each session starts outside the Tennis Courts at 11am and ends at 3pm. Candlelight Evening 19th August 2011

Further to previous post dated 16th February there are tickets available for the Candlelight Evening on Friday 19th August, 6.45- 9.45pm at York Gate, Back Church Lane, Adel.  Tickets £12.50 (includes light refreshments and a glass of wine).  Tel. 267 8240.

Crime
Excellent news with no burglaries or vehicle crime reported in the last 7 days.

ASB
It has been very quiet over the last seven days we have only had one call in relation to youths throwing apples at a building on Otley old road. Officers will be patrolling this area to prevent any further incidents

SID is currently being repaired.

Faithwatch
St Giles Church at Bramhope has been subject to lead theft. Damage has also been caused to Cookridge Methodist Church overnight Thursday to Friday. Offenders have pulled roofing tiles and lighting off the roof.

Farmwatch
There has been some diesel stolen by cutting the fuel pipe on a tractor on
Carlton Lane in Guiseley, please be on the look out for any suspicious
vehicles in the area.
