Suspicious activity report from the Leeds North Census Manager: “We had an incident a couple of days ago whereby a member of the public based
in the chapel allerton area received a phone call by someone claiming to be
a census collector (the name he used, John Carter, is not a member of staff
in the Leeds area) and aggressively telling the member of the public to
fill his form in or face a fine. Whilst I don’t have the number that was
used, we were told it was an 0208 number, so originating in London.”
If you experience any incidents of this nature please get in touch.
